Views from parents, carers, families and visitors

Wow! Wow! Wow! One of my favourite schools!

What a wonderful day with wonderful children! I worked with every year group and was impressed with their ‘can do’ attitude. They left every session beaming with pride at their achievements and super artwork. All staff were supportive and really enthusiastic.

St Hild’s is a very good school and the staff are all so helpful. They have been so helpful and they’ve been great with bringing my two boys on. They understand their needs and they do everything they can to help them.

I have three children in school and they are thriving. I have one child in school with special needs and one with emotional needs and school have been so supportive. They always help when I ask for help and will change anything that needs altering to support their whole wellbeing.

I can’t thank St Hild’s school enough for helping me. They let me collect my grandson from the main office as I can’t walk around the back and this helps me immensely. Everyone in school is so helpful.

All of the staff at St Hild’s are lovely and they all go above and beyond for each pupil. I have never had any issues with this school and everyone is always helpful, polite, friendly and caring.

I love how friendly everyone is and how helpful they are to all children – nothing is a burden and nothing is too much to ask.

St Hild’s school has helped my son so much since he started. He has improved so much in his work and in himself.

The staff are very helpful with everything you ask for at Reception. When you are down, the staff cheer you up. Thanks you for everything you do for me and my kids.

Thank you for all of the wonderful work you all do. Mrs Shotton on Reception is amazing. All the teachers do a fantastic job and everyone is so welcoming on the gate on a morning. All of the staff make the school so warm for the children and their families. You are all fabulous – well done.

All the teachers throughout all our children’s time at St Hild’s have been supportive, helpful and caring. You make it a great place to come.

I appreciate your open door policy – there is always someone available to listen whenever there are any questions or concerns and things are dealt with quickly. Nothing is too much trouble.

My child says he loves this school. I came here myself as a child and it still feels like a lovely family school.

My child said, “I love my school because I like my teacher.”

I like the fact that you have school meal samples available for parents during Open Evenings so we can taste the food they are given at lunch time. I tried the pasta and it was absolutely lovely.

We are so thankful for St Hild’s and the care they show our family. Mrs Scott in Nursery has been so accommodating to our daughter who has found the first days of school a little overwhelming. We truly couldn’t ask for a better Early Years and Reception Team. Thank you.

Thank you to all the children and staff at St Hild’s College Primary School. You were a pleasure to work with and made me feel so welcome in your school.  To say it rained on the day of your workshop is an understatement!  I am just so pleased that you were prepared with all the waterproof trousers and coats in school and more importantly the resilience of the children to weave the willow trees in the rain.  Thank you again to all the children, you listened so well, helped each other to learn a new skill and created some beautiful leaves to go on your school trees.  Also, it was lovely to work with so many classes in one day, thank you for creating the timetable as the day ran so smoothly.

Thank you very much for inviting me to St Hild’s to skip with the children.  It has been an absolute pleasure.  From the moment I walked in the door this morning I felt very welcome to be back in your lovely school.
I was able to teach a wide range of skipping skills today across KS1 and KS2 as the skipping ability of the children was even higher than last year. They have definitely become super skippers!

I was also impressed with their beautiful manners, excellent listening skills, resilience shown when skills got tricky and their kindness and encouragement towards each other during the paired and long rope skipping skills.  It’s been a joy to skip with them today.
Wishing you all a lovely summer holiday.

Best wishes

Mrs Ryder

I had the pleasure of visiting your School yesterday.

As part of my role I am required to visit numerous educational establishments and I feel compelled to let you know that yours stands out.

On each and every occasion I have visited I have been welcomed into your School family with enthusiasm by staff hungry to get the children the help and support they need.

I have met with yourself, with your teaching staff, and support staff and everyone without exception has been a credit to the School.

I have observed warm and nurturing interactions between staff and Children,

and I have witnessed meaningful conversations with staff members taking the time to make sure that your children feel valued, and are encouraged to be the best they can be.

Well done all at St Hilds!
